Sony today announced new firmware update for Alpha 7S III (Version 2.00) that allows users to utilize S-Cinetone(TM), the advanced cinematic color science for richer tonal reproduction. It is based on technology acquired through development of VENICE digital motion picture camera, and currently available in FX9, FX6 and FX3 full-frame cameras. S-Cinetone delivers natural mid-tones that are essential to healthy-looking skin color, plus soft colors and gorgeous highlights.
